CWP Beauty: Make your eyes beautiful; draw a perfect eyeliner!

Top of the day dearies! How has it been with you? everywhere has been pretty tight, abi na just for my side? I thought after the whole election thingy, things will get back to normal. **sigh** Something pretty awful happened to me last night and I have been wondering why good girls always end up with bad guyz. lolz. But I know things happen to us so that we can learn better right? Okay, moving on...

I am not really a makeup freak **shakes head** nahh. On a normal day I would just draw my brows, powder my face, apply lipstick and I'm done but on special occasions I can consider foundation, ombre lip, ombre eyeshadow, blush and all that. These things are not as difficult as they seem, just follow due process and watch makeup videos on you tube sometimes, it will really go a long way to help....

CWP Beauty: How often to you Bath your Makeup brushes?

Everyday you go into the bathroom and bath yourself thoroughly; you get out, dab you body with a clean tower, moisturize your body with expensive lotion and oil before facing the mirror to apply makeup on your gorgeous face with brushes which you haven't washed since God knows when.

Last week I shared how we can achieve a smooth skin with cucumber (find it here). Now, no matter how much you apply cucumber mask (or other beauty therapies) on your face but do not give your makeup brushes regular bath, you are not doing your face any good. When you use your brushes, bits of makeup, oil, dirt, and even bacteria can get trapped in the bristles. So while it might seem basic, skipping this step can lead to clogged pores and pesky breakouts.

How often should you wash your makeup brushes?...

CWP Beauty: Get The Look: Ombre Lips

The Ombré Lips technique is a two-tone look that subtly contours the mouth. A darker shade around the rim of your lips adds definition, while a slightly softer tone in the center reflects light and creates the illusion of fuller, juicier lips. “The key is to use two shades in the same color family. “They should gradually fade into each other for an ombré effect.” There are so many shade of ombré lips you can try, but I will like to share how to achieve a dark pink ombré lip. With this tutorial, you can try other shades.
