How to Comment with A Blog ID

So, A new reader asked how she/he can comment with a blog ID instead of going anonymous and I thought it will be best to just do a post for the benefit of others who have been struggling with the same issue and most especially for Cass; Madam, better get a proper ID. lol, just kidding.

There are so many ways to comment here but I will be sharing the 2 most popular ones which I am conversant with, here goes:

1. Google Account:

If you have a gmail account (if you don't, you will have to create one at gmail.com) sign in to your gmail account then come on Catwalk with Pat blog or any other blog (some have a different style of comment box, Like Amaka's blog) and choose Google account, drop your comment then click publish. I use this when I reply comments on the blog.

2.  Name/URL:

This is much simpler than the above. Its a way to comment with just a name and optionally with a URL that can direct others to your site or blog if you have any. Drop your comment. click on the Name/URL option, in the box that will be provided, input your name(and URL if you have any) click ok, then publish. I use this mostly when I comment on other blogs. The disadvantage of this option is that someone else can either steal your name or impersonate you, you wouldn't want that right? So, I think commenting with Google account is safer.
