Having a pigmented skin has not always been the best experience but it is for Winnie Harlow!
19 year old Winnie Harlow who has the skin pigment condition known as
vitiligo has gone from being the random America’s next top model
contestant to one of the hottest faces and turning heads in the fashion

This past weekend, the gorgeous model picked up the Beauty Idol gong at German magazine Gala’s Spa Awards 2015 in Baden Baden. Winnie looked absolutely stunning in a red sequin dress.
Winnie who was born Chantelle Brown has not always had it easy since she was diagnosed with vitiligo at the age of four. She admits she has been bullied where she went to school in Toronto with some of her classmates calling her Zebra because of the white patches on her face.
But she has since taken the fashion world by storm. Starring in two big spring/summer 2015 ad campaigns (Diesel and Desigual) and also walked for the Spanish designer, Desigual at New York Fashion Week.
Rather than being judged for her distinctive looks, Winnie is now being celebrated for them.
Wow! even with her skin issues, she is still bold. She is actually beautiful, thats self esteem.
